At the Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona, IBM and Veolia announced their new partnership to develop digital technologies to manage water, energy and waste in cities.

The Smarter Water solution will be the first to be implemented by both partners. Currently being installed in Lyon (France) and Tidworth (England), where Veolia manages water distribution and sanitation, it consolidates a multitude of data related to the management of water to generate a detailed analysis allowing the optimization of the flows.
