logo with text jpegAs interest in the unique process of sustainable wastewater disinfection with renewable energy grows, executives from Pasteurization Technology Group (PTG) have been invited to present and exhibit at a number of prestigious water industry events.

PTG invites wastewater and engineering professionals to drop by and meet us at any of these events to learn how PTG’s green and clean wastewater disinfection system can lower their operating costs, reduce their environmental footprint, and lower their power bill by generating renewable electricity. Here’s a handy list of who is speaking where and when over the next couple of months.

CWEA’s Northern Regional Training Conference

BY: California Water Environment Association (CWEA)

WHEN: September 12-14, 2012

WHERE: Modesto, California (Booth #305)

WHO: Greg Ryan Sr., PTG co-founder and Glenn d’Eon, national sales manager, will be available at booth #305 Thursday, September 13 from 9:00AM – 6:00PM to discuss how PTG’s innovative technology eliminates the need for toxic chlorine and costly UV lamps. Learn how wastewater treatment plants can disinfect wastewater in an eco-friendly manner while also generating renewable electricity onsite for major cost savings.

In addition, Mr. d’Eon will be presenting “Wastewater Disinfection with Renewable Energy Generation” in the Engineering and Research Track on Friday, September 14th from 3:30 – 4:20 PM. The presentation will include technical details as well as recent data from customer case studies.

CleanTech Water Innovation Summit
BY: Cleantech Group

WHEN: September 13-14, 2012

WHERE: Berkeley, California

WHO: Greg Ryan, CEO and co-founder of PTG, will be attending this invitation-only event. During this summit, a group of select venture capitalists, utility executives, corporate executives, entrepreneurs, and public sector leaders will focus on roundtable discussions regarding three innovation themes: smart water, resource recovery, and water re-use.

Tri-State Seminar On-The-River

BY: Nevada Water Environment Association (NWEA)

WHEN: September 25-27, 2012

WHERE: Primm, Nevada (CorTech Engineering Booth #403)

WHO: Glenn d’Eon, PTG national sales manager, will be sharing a booth with our strategic partner, CorTech Engineering. Mr. d’Eon invites those interested in wastewater disinfection to stop by the booth and learn how PTG’s innovative, eco-friendly system can help replace toxic chlorine or expensive UV systems with one that is energy-efficient. Find out how to utilize your biogas and generate renewable electricity.

WEFTEC (Water Environment Federation’s Annual Technical Exhibition and Conference)

BY: Water Environment Federation (WEF)

WHEN: October 1-3, 2012

WHERE: New Orleans, Louisiana

WHO: Greg Ryan Sr., PTG co-founder and Glenn d’Eon, national sales manager, will be available at booth #2459 to discuss how PTG’s innovative technology eliminates the need for toxic chlorine and costly UV lamps. Learn how wastewater treatment plants can disinfect wastewater in an eco-friendly manner while also generating renewable electricity onsite for major cost savings.

PTG helps companies transform wastewater into a valuable resource

PTG is the first and only company in the world to combine wastewater disinfection with renewable-energy generation. PTG’s patented technology can use the digester gas (often referred to as biogas, a natural by-product of wastewater treatment) or natural gas as fuel to drive a turbine that generates renewable electricity. The hot exhaust air from the turbine (energy that is typically wasted) is then passed through a series of heat exchangers that increase the temperature of the wastewater to a level that disinfects the wastewater stream. PTG’s technology is significantly more cost-effective and more energy-efficient than other methods. And, unlike other wastewater disinfection approaches, PTG’s systems do not require toxic chemicals such as chlorine, or costly electrical power and expensive UV lamps. PTG is growing rapidly because wastewater treatment plants have an increasing need to cost-effectively disinfect wastewater as well as reuse water.

About Pasteurization Technology Group

Located in California, Pasteurization Technology Group is a venture-capital backed company that is revolutionizing the disinfection of wastewater. PTG’s systems utilize its patented “two-for-one” technology that combines eco-friendly wastewater disinfection with the generation of renewable energy. PTG’s process is one of only a handful of technologies to pass the stringent standards of Title 22 in the state of California for the disinfection of water for reuse. By channeling the typically wasted exhaust heat from a turbine to disinfect wastewater, PTG’s process is the most energy-efficient and lowest-cost solution on the market. PTG won the 2011 BlueTech® Go-To-Market Strategy award and the Popular Science 2011 Best of What’s New award, and was featured on the 2012 Cleantech Forum Entrepreneur Showcase.
